The EC-1500C Series is designed to efficiently transmit IP signals over existing coaxial cables, making it ideal for leveraging legacy infrastructure. For UTP-based applications, the EC-1500U Series extends Ethernet beyond the standard 100 m (328 ft) limit using Cat5, Cat5e, or Cat6 cables. Both series support pass-through PoE, delivering up to 15W to connected devices like IP cameras via a single cable. The EC-1500C Series can extend up to 16 ports of 10/100 Mbps Ethernet with PoE over coaxial cables. Single-channel units can operate using power from a PoE source, making them suitable for installations where power is unavailable. Designed as a cost-effective, general-use solution, the EC-1500C/U Series offers flexibility and ease of deployment without requiring any programming.
