Product Information

Specification

About:

• The EL52CT-14 Gas Diffuser is designed with precision-engineered holes or porous surfaces to ensure even gas dispersion, preventing concentration buildup in one area and improving overall system performance
• Typically designed to handle high-pressure gas systems, the gas diffuser is built to perform in extreme operating conditions, such as high temperatures, corrosive environments, or under high-pressure gas flows

Also Known As:

Welding Gas Diffuser, Gas Flow Diffuser, Gas Diffuser, Welding Torch Diffuser, Industrial Gas Diffuser.

Specification:

Product Type Gas Diffuser
Model EL52CT-14
# of Gas Holes (4) 0.094 Inch
Amperage Rating Up to 350A
Material 360 Brass Alloy
Size 2.229 Inch Length
Part No V15601106

Features:

• Part# is rolled/stamped on the outside surface. Designed to be used with course thread nozzle assemblies
• Gas diffuser provides the OD course threads so that the nozzle assembly can attach to the conductor tube
• Gas diffuser has a silicon O-ring to seal against the nozzle assembly. Machined from 360 brass alloy bar stock to ensure consistent dimensional stability
• Recessed Tips are generally used for higher heat applications where longer electrical stick-out is required, or in cases where the nozzle may touch the work piece (tack, spot, and stitch)
• Flush tips are generally used where a shorter electrical stick-out is used sometimes resulting in shorter/tighter arc lengths, bringing the tip closer to the work piece
• Protruding Tips are generally used when welding open root pipe or any joint that requires the welder to get into a tight weld joint
