Description

This device is a reliable, high-quality replacement photoelectric duct smoke detector head, designed specifically for in-duct applications. Its computer-engineered smoke chamber enables effective detection of both smoldering and fast-flaming fires, ensuring versatile fire detection performance. The detector operates using an infrared and blue LED light source, paired with a silicon photodiode as the receiving element within the smoke chamber. Under normal standby conditions, the receiving element does not detect any light from the pulsing LED source. During a fire event, smoke enters the chamber, causing light to scatter. This reflected light reaches the receiving element, triggering the alarm response.
