The Algo 8180 is a SIP Audio Alerter designed for IP paging systems and is certified for native compatibility with Microsoft Teams via the Microsoft Teams SIP Gateway It features a high-efficiency integrated amplifier and a premium loudspeaker, making it up to eight times louder than a typical telephone speaker This makes it ideal for noisy environments such as warehouses, workshops, restaurants, and machine shops.

The Algo 8180 (G2) represents the next generation of the original model, boasting upgraded hardware that supports the latest security encryption standards, including TLS and SRTP, for secure communication with hosted SIP providers In addition to retaining all the original features of the Algo 8180, the G2 version introduces several new enhancements These include improved multicast options, a relay input for button activation, and dedicated 'Emergency Alert' extensions, similar to other Algo SIP endpoints.
