The ESTI350-5W-X from Pelco is a high-performance thermal imaging pan/tilt system designed for seamless integration into both new and existing video security applications. This advanced system is engineered to provide precise detection, recognition, and identification of people and vehicles in all lighting conditions, including complete darkness. The ESTI350-5W-X combines both IP and analog outputs within the same unit, housed in a durable, environmentally protected IP66-rated enclosure. It features the Esprit pan/tilt positioner, which can be controlled via IP or analog systems supporting Coaxitron or RS-422 Pelco D and Pelco P protocols. When used in an IP-based system, the ESTI350-5W-X offers a comprehensive suite of thermal analytics, optimizing its performance for advanced surveillance. This system delivers exceptional sensitivity, with a threshold below 50 mK at f/1.0, ensuring high-quality thermal imaging even in challenging conditions. It supports multiple display modes, including white hot, black hot, and color signatures, and is equipped with a range of lens configurations to suit various application needs. The ESTI350-5W-X is capable of supporting two simultaneous video streams in IP installations, with the ability to compress video in MJPEG and H.264 formats across multiple resolution configurations. These streams can be adjusted for different frame rates, bit rates, and GOP structures to optimize bandwidth usage. The system offers variable pan and tilt speeds, with manual pan speeds ranging from 0.1 to 40 degrees per second, and tilt speeds from 0.1 to 20 degrees per second. Preset pan speeds are 100 degrees per second in 50 mph wind conditions, and tilt preset speed is 30 degrees per second. The ESTI350-5W-X offers 360 degrees of continuous pan rotation and a tilt range of +33 to –83 degrees, with preset positions accurate to one-quarter degree. Designed for both indoor and outdoor applications, the ESTI350-5W-X is housed in a powder-coated aluminum enclosure and operates within a temperature range of –40° to 50°C (–40° to 122°F). The system includes standard features such as a built-in heater/defroster and sun shroud to ensure optimal performance in extreme weather conditions.
