12 AWG Stranded PE Polyethylene Insulation Tracer Wire

Application:

Single conductor copper, high molecular weight polyethylene (HMWPE) insulated tracer/locator wire. HMWPE is a rugged and durable material considered excellent for moisture and abrasion resistance. This product is suitable for continuous service in direct burial, wet and dry locations, 75°C. Designed to carry an electrical signal for use in locating underground non-metallic pipe. Versions available in 30 volt, 600 volt.

• ASTM D-1248 for Polyethylene
• ICEA S-70-547, ICEA S-61-402/NEMA WC5 and ICEA S- 95-658/NEMA WC70 for cable construction

• Spark tested at 7500 VAC

Conductors: The single copper stranded conductors, annealed or hard uncoated copper per UL83 and ASTM requirements.

Insulation: Concentrically applied HMWPE insulation in accordance with UL83.
