Description

The Chemtrol® socket tee is an injection molded black polypropylene (PP) thermoplastic fitting that features female thermo-seal fusion joining socket connections. The PP socket tee exhibits exceptionally versatile chemical resistance properties as well as superior UV stability and is ideal for use with industrial and outdoor applications, hot corrosive liquids, chemical processing, industrial plating, waste treatment systems, and especially laboratory and industrial waste drainage systems. Chemtrol® PP fittings are lightweight, easy to install, and maintenance-free. The fittings join piping lengths together with thermo-seal fusion, threading, or flanging. Chemtrol® industrial thermoplastic flow-control systems perform well in harsh environments because they are made with materials that are resistant to abrasion, corrosion, weather, and chemical and biological attack. Chemtrol® black polypropylene demonstrates excellent tensile strength, UV stability, and versatile chemical resistance properties, making it the material of choice for harsh industrial, outdoor, and underground applications.
