Product Information

Specification

Also Known As :
It is a type of network cabling that is used in buildings where air circulation for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems (HVAC) is provided through the space above the ceiling or below the floor that is used for air return flow.

About :
UTP cables are commonly used in commercial buildings, especially in areas where the building code requires their use due to their enhanced safety characteristics. They typically cost more than non-plenum-rated cables due to the materials used in their construction.

Description
Berk-Tek’s LANmark-350 Premium Category 5e UTP cables are designed to meet the most advanced UTP horizontal cable applications.Tested up to 350 MHz, the guaranteed performance of this cable far exceeds the ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B.2 and ISO/IEC 11801 horizon tal cable requirements for PS-NEXT, attenuation, structural return loss, attenuation-to-crosstalk ratio (ACR) and impedance, making it ideal for high-end transmission links supporting today’s networking protocols.
Construction
Stranded tinned copper wire insulated with polyethylene. Two insulated conductors
twisted together to form a pair and four such pairs cabled to form the basic unit jacketed with flame-retardant PVC.
Standards
• North American: ANSI/TIA-568.2-D, UL 444 and C22.2 No.214-02 International: ISO/IEC 11801-2nd Edition Category 5, EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS)
Flame Rating
• Patch - UL 1685, CM, IEC 332-1
• UL Listed
