The 16 AWG 8C Solid Bare Copper Tape Shielded PVC NYCY 0.6/1kV power low voltage cable is an extension of the previously described cable type but with two additional cores, making it suitable for more complex applications requiring multiple circuits.

Similar to its 5C counterpart, this cable is often referred to by its specifications, such as "16 AWG 8C NYCY" or "7 Core Solid Bare Copper Tape Shielded Cable."

Application:

Power cables for energy supply are installed in open air, in underground, in water, indoors and in cable ducts, power station, for industry and distribution boards as well as in subscriber networks, where mechanical damages are not to be expected.
