16 AWG 60C TC Shielded Armour XLPO GAALSHIP Control IEEE Type P BS 0.6/1KV Offshore Cable
Allowable Ampacity for 16 AWG 60C TC Shielded Armour XLPO GAALSHIP Control IEEE Type P BS 0.6/1KV Offshore Cable:100 Amps
About:
The 16 AWG 60C TC Shielded Armour XLPO GAALSHIP Control IEEE Type P BS 0.6/1KV Offshore Cable is designed for use in harsh marine and offshore environments. It features four tinned copper conductors, shielded and armored for enhanced protection against mechanical damage and electromagnetic interference. The cable's cross-linked polyolefin insulation provides excellent resistance to high temperatures, chemicals, and environmental hazards, making it ideal for critical control and communication systems in offshore oil, gas, and marine industries.
Also Known As:
• 16 AWG 60-Conductor Tinned Copper Shielded Armored Cable
• XLPO Insulated Control Cable
• Offshore Control IEEE Type P Cable
• BS 0.6/1KV Armored Control Cable
Application:
• Offshore oil and gas platforms: For control and communication systems where durability and resistance to harsh conditions are necessary.
• Marine vessels: Used in control systems where cables are exposed to the marine atmosphere.
• Industrial environments: Suitable for areas where chemical resistance and fire safety are critical.
Standards:
• IEEE Type P: Meets or exceeds the IEEE Type P standard for performance under fire conditions, ensuring safety and functionality in fire scenarios.
• BS 0.6/1KV: Complies with British Standards for electrical and mechanical performance at voltage levels up to 1 kilovolt.
• Flame Retardant: Designed to resist the spread of fire, reducing potential damage in critical settings.
