About:
16 AWG Zip cord with multiple conductors is used in a variety of jobs and industries. Commonly, it is used for low voltage lights, trailer lights or DC circuits. How is it different from other bonded wire Well, when it is being manufactured, three or four strands of wire are extruded together side by side. Each of these wires is color-coded for easy identification. 16 AWG Zip cord with multiple conductors is designed to stay together during operating conditions. If needed, the wires can be easily separated for termination of the ends. What material is this wire constructed from Well, 16 AWG zip cord is made from annealed bare copper primary wire (Type II). This wire is chosen for is conductivity. The insulation on the wire has been color coded for easy identification. This insulation is designed to be flexible to make the installation process easier.
