14 AWG 7C Bare Copper Unshielded Wrap XLPE PVC U-1000 R2V 0.6/1KV Low Voltage Cable

Allowable Ampacity for 14 AWG 7C Bare Copper Unshielded Wrap XLPE PVC U-1000 R2V 0.6/1KV Low Voltage Cable: 100 Amps

About:

The U-1000 R2V cable features bare copper conductors and is unshielded. It uses cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) for insulation, providing excellent electrical properties and resistance to heat, chemicals, and environmental conditions. The outer sheath is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), enhancing its durability and protection against physical abrasions and moisture. The cable is rated for a voltage of 0.6/1 kV, making it suitable for low voltage applications.

Also Known As:

 XLPE insulated PVC sheathed cable
 Low voltage copper cable
 Unshielded copper XLPE cable

Application:

For use in industrial sites and the upright columns of buildings. particulary suited in cases of high resistance to solar radiation and athmospheric agents is required good resistance to low temperatures and chemical agents. Can be used without additional mechanical protection in the open air, fixed to walls or in raceways, inside walkways, and in empty in constructions in general. can be laid underground with mechanical protection constucted from slab, tiles, or bricks. It is no racomended to lay this cable in ground flooded for more than two months for year. With appropriate mechanical protection it can be use in areas subject to risk of explosion, but in this case the permitted current load is reduced by 15% It can be used in ambient temperatures down to - 25°.

Standards:

International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards, ensuring global compliance and performance criteria.
European standards, possibly including EN 50525-3-11, which specifies requirements for cables of rated voltages up to and including 450/750 V.
National standards that may apply in the country of use, ensuring the cable meets local codes and installation practices.
