The Digital Sentry Network Video Recorder (DSSRV2) is purpose-built to provide seamless hardware integration for the DS NVs Video Management Software (VMS), offering a reliable and cost-effective surveillance solution without the complexity of separate hardware and software setups. Equipped with a 4th Generation Intel Xeon processor and 8 GB of RAM, the DSSRV2 delivers a powerful combination of processing performance and reliability, ideal for the demands of high-definition video recording and playback. The system supports up to 128 video streams (IP and analog combined), including up to 64 analog cameras using the optional ENC5516 direct-attached encoder. Analog video streams can also be managed via or third-party encoders. With a throughput capacity of up to 350 Mbps (300 Mbps for JBOD models), this NVR ensures efficient recording, playback, and export of analog and IP video streams via the DS Control Point client interface. The system is versatile, functioning as a stand-alone unit or as part of a server network, monitored through a user-friendly interface. For network flexibility, the NVR features two gigabit Ethernet ports, allowing one port to handle IP cameras while the other supports client connections.
