The Digital Sentry Network Video Recorder (DSSRV2) is a robust and efficient solution engineered to provide seamless hardware integration with DS NVs Video Management Software (VMS), eliminating the added cost and complexities of integrating hardware and software. Powered by a 4th Generation Intel Xeon processor and 8 GB of RAM, the DSSRV2 delivers exceptional processing power and reliability to handle the demands of high-definition video recording and playback. Capable of supporting up to 128 combined IP and analog video streams, the DSSRV2 is designed to accommodate up to 64 analog cameras when used with the optional ENC5516 direct-attached encoder. It also supports analog streams through and third-party encoders, offering flexibility to adapt to various surveillance needs. The system achieves a total throughput of up to 350 Mbps (or 300 Mbps for JBOD models), enabling smooth recording, playback, and export via the DS Control Point client interface. The DSSRV2 can operate as a stand-alone system or be integrated into a network of servers, providing scalability for growing surveillance demands. Two gigabit Ethernet ports enable convenient network architecture planning, allowing one port to be dedicated to IP cameras and the other to client connections.
