The MCM110ST2 10/100 Multi-Mode ST Fiber Ethernet Media Converter (2 km) provides a cost-effective way to extend Ethernet networks by transparently converting 10Base-T/100Base-Tx signals to 100Base-Fx optical signals over a multimode fiber backbone. Supporting cable distances up to 2 km (1.2 miles), it offers a simple and reliable solution for connecting Ethernet networks to remote locations using ST-terminated multimode fiber while ensuring solid performance and scalability. Compact and easy to install, this value-driven Fast Ethernet converter includes auto-switching MDI/MDI-X support on RJ45 UTP connections, along with manual controls for UTP mode, speed, full/half duplex, and link fault pass-through (LFP).
