Description:

The BM300 is a medium-capacity bi-metallic steam trap designed for use in applications such as drip trapping on superheated steam mains, steam supply lines, saturated steam lines, and steam tracing systems. Its bimetallic mechanism subcools condensate prior to discharge, promoting energy-efficient performance while minimizing steam loss. Engineered from forged carbon steel, the BM300 includes a fully repairable internal assembly that allows for maintenance without removing the trap from the pipeline—enhancing both practicality and service convenience. As a thermostatic trap, it is compact and lightweight, offering excellent air discharge capability that enables it to double as a low-capacity air vent. This is especially advantageous during system start-up, as it facilitates quick air removal for efficient steam distribution. Built with a durable bi-metal element, the trap is highly resistant to water hammer, ensuring reliable, long-term performance under demanding conditions. Additionally, a back-seated hardened plug serves as an internal check valve, further enhancing operational integrity.
