The FT Series steam traps are designed to operate at pressures up to 75 PSIG, making them ideal for low-pressure HVAC systems and light industrial process applications, such as unit heaters, water heaters, pressing machines, heat exchangers, and coils. For drip applications—including the drainage of steam mains and steam supply lines—the ¾” FT-075 (model FT73-075-13-N) is recommended. With their excellent air-handling capability, float and thermostatic (F&T) traps provide a more effective solution than inverted bucket traps in most process systems. Additionally, the FT Series features a dual inlet-outlet H-pattern connection, offering increased flexibility during installation.
