Direct-operated pressure regulators with heavy-duty cast iron bodies and internal strainers are ideal for a wide range of low-to-moderate flow applications. Common uses include small heaters, humidifiers, hospital equipment, tire molds, and various general-purpose systems. These regulators do not require an external sensing line, simplifying installation. The set pressure is adjusted by turning a screw with a lock nut, which modifies the spring force applied above the diaphragm. Multiple spring ranges are available to accommodate different downstream pressure requirements.
