About:
The Ambi-Regulator is a direct-operated regulator, similar to the W91/94 Series, but without the bulb and capillary. This design enables the thermal assembly to sense ambient conditions, allowing the valve to open or close based on surrounding temperatures. It is commonly used on steam tracing lines, where the valve closes when ambient temperatures exceed the field-adjustable setpoint. Additionally, the Ambi-Regulator can function as a freeze protection device on water lines by opening when ambient temperatures fall below the adjustable set temperature.
