Stainless steel 2-way control valves are specifically designed to handle the demanding conditions of steam service and are also suitable for air and water applications. Compared to valves constructed from bronze, cast iron, or cast steel, these stainless steel valves offer a more cost-effective solution. The standard design features an equal percentage flow characteristic, metal-to-metal seating, spring-loaded Teflon V-ring stem packing, and a pneumatic actuator. The actuator operates with a standard instrument air signal of 3-15 PSIG, allowing precise modulation of the valve position.
