Nassau National Cable cooperates with WSP Global on a Solar Project

Challenge

While working on a solar project in Utah, WSP contractors were unable to secure 218,000 feet of 35kV URD 4/0 aluminum stranded shielded cable within the project's timeframe because of the low availability of this cable in North America. The company representatives contacted Nassau National Cable with a request to supply the said amount of the cable within 12 weeks.

Solution

Nassau National Cable secured the stock of 35kV URD 4/0 aluminum stranded shielded cable in the required amount and delivered it to WSP contractors in less than 12 weeks, ensuring that the solar project is completed in time. The completion of the requirement has been made possible thanks to our excellent supply line when it comes to aluminum cables. As a result, the WSP solar project in Utah was completed on time. The cable was used for underground distribution on a Utah solar project.

About The Cable
