At the core of the system is an uncooled, sun-safe microbolometer featuring a long-wavelength infrared (LWIR) camera. The camera uses an amorphous silicon detector, which delivers lower fixed pattern noise and a more consistent response compared to vanadium oxide detectors, while providing high resolution and sensitivity even under direct sunlight during the day. With exceptional sensitivity below 50 mK at f\/1.0, the ESTI350-2N Sarix TI Series supports multiple display formats, including white hot, black hot, and color signatures. It offers a wide range of lens options, making it suitable for diverse applications. The powder-coated aluminum enclosure ensures durability in both indoor and outdoor environments, with an operating temperature range from –40°C to 50°C (–40°F to 122°F).
