About:
The Ambi-Regulator is a direct-operated regulator similar to the W91/94 Series, but without the bulb and capillary. This design enables the thermal assembly to sense ambient conditions, allowing the valve to open or close based on surrounding temperatures. A common application is in steam tracing lines, where the valve closes when ambient temperatures rise above the field-adjustable setpoint. The Ambi-Regulator can also serve as a freeze protection device on water lines, opening when ambient temperatures drop below the adjustable set temperature.
