Construction
Conductors:
This fire alarm cable conductor is made of bare copper. Copper is used for this application because of its amazing electrical properties and flexibility.
Insulation:
The fire alarm wire has PVC insulation. It can withstand a wide range of temperatures, is resistant to chemicals and UV light deformations, water-tight, and easy to cut.
Jacket:
The smoke alarm wiring has a PVC jacket with a rip cord. It is resistant to extreme temperatures, chemicals and UV light deformations. It is also water-tight and easy to cut.
Shield:
This cable has a mylar-backed aluminum tape shield with 100% coverage.
